Why a BDSM Blog?<\/p>\n

Actually, I\u2019m a copywriter by profession. And an astrologer, too.<\/p>\n

I have had my own practice since 2005. Since 2015, I have been working for various media companies and running my own copywriting agency.<\/p>\n

Just when my workload was starting to ease off a bit and I was finding consultations about finances, work and lost loves less and less enjoyable, I was approached by an old acquaintance who asked me to write a script for one of his online adult short films. The condition: it had to be as crude and raunchy as possible.<\/p>\n

I saw this not only as a fun challenge, but also as a great opportunity to write seriously about BDSM for a change, which I now have the requisite experience with it.<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Long story short; my script was so well liked that it even gave the actors (who were really used to some things) red ears. \u201cNice and raw,\u201d the actress called my style.<\/p>\n

Massad Magazine<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

As I could still do with a bit of extra work and wanted to start winding down my practice, I decided, following this remarkable debut, to broaden my field of work and, on the off chance, sent out a number of speculative applications to various adult magazines, including *Massad*.<\/p>\n

Bert, the magazine's owner, offered me a spot in his magazine, which I gratefully filled with the follow-up story \u2018Wet Rose\u2019. About a young lady with submissive feelings who meets the brutal Dom \u2018Boss\u2019 online.<\/p>\n

When I asked Bert if he might look around for a nice side job for me, he immediately forwarded me Indecent's vacancy.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He remembered the call he had seen coming along and immediately thought of me after my question.<\/p>\n

I called go to the shop<\/a>, was invited for an interview and was hired straight away after a two-day trial period. Not least because of my knowledge of BDSM, which meant I was able to advise customers in the shop effectively.<\/p>\n

Suddenly I was not only a copywriter but also a shopgirl ;-)<\/p>\n

And speaking of writing, so this brings me to the answer to the question: why?<\/p>\n

Why a BDSM Blog<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Because I\u2019ve noticed that there\u2019s growing interest in BDSM in the shop (including amongst increasingly younger people) and because, whilst there\u2019s a lot of talk online about kink and BDSM, remarkably little is actually being said. About dynamics. Boundaries. Shame. Desire. Relationships. And, above all, the psychology behind it.<\/p>\n

For me, BDSM is not only about sexuality, but also about trust, fantasy, intellect and identity.<\/p>\n

Through this blog, I therefore want to share not only exciting stories, but also experiences, observations, humour, doubts and conversations from the scene itself.<\/p>\n

Not a theoretical handbook from someone who thinks he knows everything better, but just honestly written from my own experience, curiosity and fascination with this world.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And maybe you recognise yourself in that somewhere. :-)<\/p>\n

After all, BDSM is much more than whips, latex and bad Fifty Shades clich\u00e9s. Behind closed doors, often the most human things are precisely what take place: trust, vulnerability, control, desire and connection.<\/p>\n

That's where I want about writing<\/a>.<\/p>\n
